My Krampus parody is the featured story in the new Grumpy Cat holiday anthology, The Grumpus and Other Horrible Holiday Tales. The anthology also includes my story "Grumpy Cat vs. The Merry Martians."
Happy Holidays!
For reasons too numerous to list, I am migrating from Twitter to Bluesky for my social media presence. Generally speaking, Bluesky will now be the place where I make announcements about appearances, upcoming projects, and whatever other thoughts escape my head.
We are thrilled to announce The Underfoot Vol 2: Into the Sun has been nominated for a Ringo Award in the category of Best YA Series of Graphic Novel. This is the second such nomination for the series, as The Underfoot Vol 1: The Mighty Deep received the same nomination upon its release.
It is a great honor and privilege to announce The Underfoot Vol 1: The Mighty Deep has been nominated for the prestigious Black-Eyed Susan Award for Graphic Novels (Grades 6-9).
The first and second volumes of the Ringo and Black-Eyed Susan nominated graphic novel trilogy, The Underfoot, is available in stores (and online) everywhere.
Drawn by Eisner-award winning artist Michelle Nguyen, The Underfoot Vol 1: The Mighty Deep is a post-apocalyptic tale of a world without humans and the animals they left behind, as seen through the diminutive eyes of a highly-specialized hamster colony.
In The Underfoot: Into the Sun, the valiant Hamster Aquatic Mercenaries must join forces with the Hamster Airborne Paratroopers to breach a mysterious island controlled by Scales from which no Fur has ever returned.
You can learn much more about the book in this interview with Westfield Comics.
